Designed to please even the most demanding audiophiles, Pioneer’s EX series high-end speaker system is a true reflection of Pioneer’s
dedication to sound perfection, combining cutting-edge speaker technology and high-quality design.
The S-V1EX set consists of two floor-standing front speakers (S-1EX), a centre speaker (S-7EX) and two rear bookshelf type speakers (S-2EX),
all of which are magnetically shielded for video use.
All speaker units are designed by TAD (Technical Audio Devices) — the world-famous manufacturer of professional recording studio
loudspeakers.
Each 3-way floor-standing and centre speaker features two 18 cm TAD woofers with Carbon Aramid cones, a concentric TAD midrange/tweeter
speaker unit with a 14 cm Magnesium midrange cone and a 3.5 cm Beryllium tweeter.
The exceptional TAD Beryllium tweeter can reproduce very high frequencies (up to 100 kHz) of DVD-Audio and SACD. For the best sound
performance, it’s recommended to combine these speakers with DVD-Audio and SACD compatible receiver and players.
The EX series speaker’s heavy and rigid cabinet was designed to eliminate the influence of internal standing waves, while its front baffle
‘Precision Curve’ is responsible for a perfect time alignment of the sound.
For a pure music and home cinema experience, Pioneer acoustics engineers recommend the following amplifiers: VSA-AX10Ai, VSX-AX4AVi.

