NOTES:
1. Radio must have a 12-pin (6 + 6) CD changer port.
2. The BTS-TY2 replaces the CD changer or XM radio if present.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Carefully remove the radio to gain access to the radio connectors.
2. Locate the 12-pin (6 + 6) CD changer port. If there is a connector plugged into this cavity, you need to unplug it.
The BTS-TY2 replaces the CD changer or XM radio.
3. Plug the 12-pin connector of the BTS-TY2 to the CD changer port of the radio.
4. If the line-in feature will be used, plug a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable (sold separately) to the BTS-TY2 module and
run towards the desired location.
5. IfaUSBashdrivewillbeused,pluginamaletofemaleUSBcable(notincluded)totheBTS-TY2moduleand
run to the desired location.
6. You can also mount the BTS-TY2 to an easily accessible location such as the center console or glove box, to
use the 3.5mm line-in and USB features.
7. Test the system for functionality before putting back the radio.
