20.9. EXPRESSION PEDAL.
This is definitely not an effect, but serves to control effects. The Crumar Seven features a jack input that can be used to connect an
expression pedal, which can be freely assigned to a number of parameters. This section lets you choose what the pedal must be
assigned to and in which way it can operate. The parameter FUNCTION has the following values:
VOLUME: the pedal controls the MASTER VOLUME
FX1 DEPTH: the pedal controls the DEPTH parameter of FX1
FX2 DEPTH: the pedal controls the DEPTH parameter of FX2
FX 1+2 DEPTH: the pedal controls the DEPTH parameter of both FX1 and FX2 at the same time
FX1 RATE: the pedal controls the RATE parameter of FX1
FX2 RATE: the pedal controls the RATE parameter of FX2
FX 1+2 RATE: the pedal controls the RATE parameter of both FX1 and FX2 at the same time
AMP DRIVE: the pedal controls the amount of overdrive (only available if AMP SIMULATOR is on)
PAD LEVEL: the pedal controls the volume of the background synth pad
PAD BLEND: the pedal controls the BLEND parameter of the background synth pad
PLEASE NOTE: when FX1 is set to Pedal Wha-Wha, the expression pedal will ignore any assignment made in this section and will always
control the Wha-Wha. In other words,
the Pedal Wha-Wha effect always takes the priority on the expression pedal
.
The next two parameters RANGE MIN. and RANGE MAX. set the minimum and the maximum values the expression pedal can reach.
If min is greater than max, the action is automatically reversed.
Being treated as an effect, the expression pedal assignment is stored with each preset.
