PICKUP COMPRESSION: Adjusts the effect of level compression due to pickup impedance loss when the signal gets hotter. Results
in a slower or longer decay according to this parameter's position.
RELEASE LENGTH: Adjusts the amount of residual string vibration after each note-off (key is released, damper is off).
STRETCH TUNING: Set the amount of stretch tuning. The middle position corresponds to the original tuning table as
recommended by the piano manufacturer.
SYMPATHETIC RESONANCES: Set the amount of sympathetic resonances spread over the whole harp.
KEY NOISE LEVEL: Adjusts the volume of all key noises generated by the hammers.
PEDAL NOISE LEVEL: Adjusts the volume of the noises generated by the pedals.
DYNAMICS: Adjusts the dynamic response, i.e. the ratio between MIDI velocity and note velocity.
CHAPTER 14: CLAVI ELECTRIC PIANO.
This is a simulation of a
Clavinet D6
. As seen in Chapter 9, the CLAVI TABS can also be accessed by the physical control panel. There's
only one more parameter only accessible from the editor. The parameters you find in the EDIT PIANO page are:
PICKUP A/B: When single pickup, switch between A = Neck Pickup and B = Bridge Pickup;
when playing both pickups (D Position) switch between A =Pickups in phase and B =Pickups out of phase.
PICKUP C/D: Switch between Single Pickup (C position) or Both Pickups (D Position).
FILTER SOFT: Toggles the Soft filter.
FILTER MEDIUM: Toggles the Medium filter.
FILTER TREBLE: Toggles the Treble filter.
FILTER BRILLIANT: Toggles the Brilliant filter.
DAMPER LEVER: Adjusts the dampening for all strings. In a real
Clavinet
this lever lets a damper felt touch all strings, reducing the
duration of all notes, as well as their brightness and loudness.
