Product Description Preparation for Installation The new USB DataPort is the latest in removable and mobile data solutions from CRU-DataPort. The USB DataPort enables users to hot swap any standard 3.5” low profile IDE/PATA hard disk drive from a computer’s 5.25” drive bay. The ability to hot swap or “hot plug” hard drives is ideal for performing data backups at any time without the inconvenience of a system reboot.
6. Remove an empty PCI slot bracket. On the back of your computer remove an empty PCI bracket and install the Internal USB PCI Bracket.
