Caution:
If you have an EXD (duplex) model, the lower input feeder must not be
removed, even for shipping.
If you don’t have a lower input feeder installed on the CXE or DXE models, skip to
“Repack the Printer” on page C-14.
1 Remove the plastic side covers
from the sides of the input feeder.

through 5 show the printer without the
duplexer.
2 Remove the printer cover plate.
You will switch this printer cover plate
with the one from the lower input
feeder after the cables have been dis-
connected.
3 Locate the cable at the left rear of
the input feeder, and disconnect it.
4 Reinsert the two cover plates.
Put the one originally on the input feeder on the printer, and put the one originally
on the printer on the input feeder.
