5 If there still is a jam message,
open the printer’s top cover.
Pull the top latch to release the top
cover.
 Caution: If you have a duplex model,
make sure you have opened the
duplexer’s rear cover first. See
“Duplexer Jams” on page 8-10.
Forced opening of the top cover first
may damage the unit.
6 Remove the jammed media by pulling it toward you.
7 If it didn’t come out easily, open
the green fuser roller pressure
release levers (one at each end of
the fuser).
