 Caution: Remember to turn off the printer before you install
an option.
If you purchased any printer options, such as extra memory (SIMMs),
emulations, an interface card, or an internal hard disk, install them
after you have successfully printed a startup page. More information
about startup pages is included in the
Reference manual.
If installation instructions are included with the option, follow them. If
not, instructions are included in the
Options manual.

3 Remove the tie-wrap
(labeled “E”).
4 Push the multipurpose
tray unit firmly back into
the printer.
