software applications. The physical IQ Network
can be wired, wireless, or both. With wireless
capabilities and a laptop computer, system mon-
itoring and correction can be performed instant-
ly from anywhere in the facility.
Designed for simplicity as well as flexibility, an IQ
Network is simple to design, easy to install, and
a breeze to use. A range of IQ-compatible com-
ponents is available, each created to address
real-world requirements, including control and
monitoring, real-time load supervision, digital
signal processing (including filters and delays),

network audio transport, and more.
Easy-to-install IQ-PIP modules can be quickly
added to any IQ-compatible Crown amplifier,
greatly extending its capabilities. In addition the
I-Tech family of amplifiers comes with networka-
bility built in.
With IQ Networking, your audio installation
becomes smarter, more secure. Technicians can
be immediately notified of problems, including
specific information about where to locate the
problem. Automated error reporting provides
feedback based on parameters you define; warn-
ings are delivered immediately, allowing prob-
lems to be diagnosed and corrected before they
interfere with system operations. Full visibility of
other network users allows you to track other
users on the network or to work with other users
in real time.
IQ Network infrastructure requires only standard
ethernet wiring and off-the-shelf network compo-
nents, making an IQ Network reliable as well as
economical. In fact, an IQ network can be imple-
mented using an existing network infrastructure,
without interfering with other network services
such as HVAC, lighting, security, etc. For new
installations, a single cable can be pulled for all
required facility services.
