Warning: It is recommended to stay within a grade for nuts, bolts and washers. However, you can grade up if necessary.
Note: Not all Hex Head machine screws or Hex Head sheet metal screws will have the same head diameter as hex bolts.

Hex Bolts
• For general hardware use where
high strength is not required.
Hex Cap Screws
• Best suited for applications where high
strength and/or hardness is required.
• Manufactured from hardened heat treated steel.
• Grade 5/Metric 8.8 and Grade 8/Metric 10.9.
• Possesses washer face beneath head of bolt.
• Used with nuts or directly into a threaded receptacle.
