8.3 Field Bus termination
For the Field Bus to operate properly, the bus needs to be terminated on the first device
and the last device in the bus.
When a device is either the first or the last device in the Field Bus, then the bus needs to
be terminated on that device.
In the example in Figure 10 the bus needs to be terminated on the Access Point (which is
automatically done by the Access Point itself) and on ACU 3.

To terminate the Field bus on the Control Unit, the switch TERM must be put in the ON
position.
