CAUTION: This airgun has been classied as an adult airgun. Adult airguns are exempt from performance requirements for trigger mechanisms, safety mechanisms and drop tests.
NOTE: There may be up to a 100 shot break-in period with break barrel airguns. During this period, accuracy may be inconsistent and you airgun may seem loud. This will improve
as the airgun breaks in.
1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
• ALWAYS treat the airgun as though it is loaded and ready to re.
• ALWAYS treat the airgun with the same respect you would a rearm.
• ALWAYS store the airgun unloaded and way from children.
• ALWAYS aim in a SAFE DIRECTION.
• ALWAYS keep the muzzle of the airgun pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION.
• ALWAYS keep your nger o the trigger and out of the trigger guard until ready to shoot.
• ALWAYS keep the airgun “ONSAFE” until you are ready to shoot.
• ALWAYS check to see if the airgun is “ONSAFE” and unloaded when removing it from storage.
• ALWAYS check to see if the airgun is “ONSAFE” when handing it to, or receiving it from, another person.
• ALWAYS have you and others wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes.
• ALWAYS wear shooting glasses over reading glasses or prescription glasses.
• ALWAYS place a shooting backstop in a location that will be safe should the backstop fail.
• ALWAYS check your backstop for wear before and after each use. All backstops are subject to wear and will eventually fail. Replace your backstop if the surface is worn or
damaged, or if a ricochet occurs.
• ALWAYS use the proper size pellet only in your airgun. Check the markings on your airgun to verify the pellet size.
• NEVER point the airgun at any person or at anything you do not intend to shoot.
• NEVER reuse ammunition.
• NEVER shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water. The ammo may bounce o or ricochet and hit someone or something you had not intended to hit.
• NEVER attempt to disassemble or tamper with your airgun. Use an Authorized Service Station. Using unauthorized service or repair centers, or modifying the function of
your airgun, in any way, may be unsafe and will void your warranty.

4. OPERATING THE SAFETY
CAUTION: Like all mechanical devices, an airgun safety can fail. Even when the safety is “ONSAFE”, you should continue to handle the airgun in
a safe manner.
• Locate the safety lever in front of the trigger.
• The condition of the safety is indicated by the position of the safety. Depending on your model, the letters “F” (FIRE) and “S” (SAFE) are
found either on the bottom of the trigger guard or the side of the trigger guard. These letters indicate the position of the safety.
A. To Put the Airgun “ONSAFE”
1. Pull the safety towards the trigger. The safety is on and the airgun is “ONSAFE” when the safety lever is in the rearward position “S”
(near trigger) (Fig.3A).
B. To Take the Airgun “OFFSAFE”
1. Push the safety forward away from the trigger. The airgun is “OFFSAFE” and ready to “FIRE” when the safety lever is in the forward
position “F” (away from trigger) (Fig.3B).
KEEP THE AIRGUN IN THE “ONSAFE” POSITION UNTIL YOU ARE ACTUALLY READY TO SHOOT. THEN PUSH THE SAFETY TO
THE “OFFSAFE” POSITION.
5. COCKING AND LOADING
DURING THE COCKING AND LOADING PROCESS:
• NEVER PLACE YOUR HAND OR FINGERS OVER THE END OF THE MUZZLE.
• NEVER POINT THE MUZZLE TOWARD YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON.
• DO NOT TOUCH THE TRIGGER OR PUSH THE SAFETY TO THE “OFFSAFE” POSITION.
• DO NOT COCK YOUR AIRGUN UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO LOAD AND FIRE, SINCE THE ONLY WAY TO UNCOCK YOUR AIRGUN IS TO FIRE IT.
CAUTION:
• Never allow the barrel to spring back before the action is engaged.
• Do not pull the trigger until the barrel is returned to the ring position.
• Do not re your airgun without a pellet in the chamber (dry ring).
• Dry ring may cause damage to your airgun.
A. Cocking
1. Put the airgun “ONSAFE”.
2. Make sure the airgun is UNLOADED and POINTED in a SAFE DIRECTION.
3. Hold the airgun close to your body by placing the stock of the airgun on your upper thigh (Fig.4).
4. With the palm of your hand, sharply tap the muzzle end of the barrel.
5. With the airgun resting on your upper thigh, grasp the muzzle end of the barrel.
6. Quickly and rmly pull the muzzle end of the barrel down as far as it will go to engage the action.
7. Be careful not to pinch your hand or ngers in the hinge area of the airgun.
B. Loading
CAUTION:
• This airgun was designed to function best with Crosman® and Benjamin® pellets.
• Use of other ammunition may cause the gun to malfunction and could cause damage to the airgun.
• NEVER reuse ammunition.
• Review the entire manual, including the section on Safety, before ring your airgun.

1. With the barrel in the open position, after it has been cocked, place one pellet, nose forward, into the breech (Fig.5). Make sure that the skirt of the pellet is ush with
face of breech.
2. Move the barrel back to its original position by pushing the barrel up until it locks (Fig.6).
3. Be sure that the barrel is locked in the closed position after loading/cocking.
4. After following these steps and reading the entire manual, including the section on reviewing safety procedures, your airgun in now loaded and ready to re.
6. SIGHTS AND SCOPES For SELECT AIRGUN MODELS ONLY
A. Open Sights (available on certain models only)
1. Elevation is set by means of the rear sight-elevating dial (or for some models a screw) situated on the rear sight base. Turn the dial (or screw) counterclockwise to make
the pellet hit higher on the target and turn the dial (or screw) clockwise to make the pellet hit lower on the target.
2. Windage is set by turning the windage dial (or screw) located on the right side of the sight. Turn the dial (or screw) counterclockwise to make the pellet hit to the left
on the target and turn the dial (or screw) clockwise to make the pellet hit to the right on the target

NOTE: For airgun models that include accessory sights and/or scopes, please see the owner’s manual included with your optic for details on mounting and sighting in your specic
optic.
7. AIMING AND FIRING SAFELY
CAUTION:
• REMEMBER, choose your targets carefully and be sure that the area around
the target is clear.
• THINK about what you will hit if you miss the target!
1. For models with open sights, the airgun is aimed correctly when the
front sight blade is positioned in the notch of the rear sight (Fig.7).
2. For models with open sights, the top of the front blade should be even
with the top of the notch in the rear sight. The bulls-eye should appear
to rest on top of the front sight.
3. When you are sure of your target and backstop, and the area around the
target is clear, take the airgun “OFFSAFE” and pull the trigger to re.
8. MANUALLY UNLOADING/CLEARING A JAMMED PELLET
IF A PELLET DOES NOT FIRE AFTER PULLING THE TRIGGER AND FIRING, THEN IT MAY BE JAMMED. AN UNFIRED
PROJECTILE IN THE BARREL CAN BE DANGEROUS. KEEP THE AIRGUN POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION.
CAUTION:
• Do not reload the airgun if a pellet is jammed.
• Never look down the muzzle end of the barrel to see if a jam has been cleared.
1. Take the airgun “OFFSAFE” and keep it pointed in a safe direction until you are ready to shoot.
2. Fire the airgun at a safe target.
3. If the pellet still does not re, put your airgun “ONSAFE” and follow these steps:
a. Point the airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION.
b. Hold the airgun close to your body by placing the stock of the gun on your upper thigh.
c. With the palm of your hand, sharply tap the muzzle end of the barrel to expose the breech without fully cocking.
d. Look down through the breech to conrm a pellet is jammed.
e. Insert the tapered end of the cleaning rod (not included) into the barrel.
f. CAREFULLY and slowly, apply more pressure until you push the pellet out of the muzzle.
g. DO NOT reuse that pellet.
NOTE:
• DO NOT re your airgun without a pellet in the chamber (dry re). This may permanently damage your airgun.
• If you are not able to unjam your airgun by following the “clearing a jammed pellet” procedure, take no further action. An Authorized Service Station will unjam your
airgun (at no cost to you during the warranty period).
9. ADVANCED TUNING TECHNIQUES  TRIGGER DEVICE
This airgun is equipped with a two stage adjustable trigger. The pull-o point and the trigger travel are already factory set. The trigger assembly can be adjusted, but unless
you are experienced in making such adjustments, Crosman recommends that any adjustments to factory settings be made only by an authorized service station after reading
all instructions.
ADJUSTING THE TRIGGER ASSEMBLY CAN RESULT IN A LIGHTER TRIGGER PULL AND DECREASED SEAR ENGAGEMENT
THAT COULD MAKE THE AIRGUN MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO DISCHARGE WHEN DROPPED OR JARRED, OR AFFECT THE FUNCTION OF THE SAFETY.
NOTE:
• These adjustment features are for advanced shooters. Most shooters can use the factory
adjusted settings and should not need to make additional adjustments.
• Small adjustments make a noticeable change to the operation of the trigger.
• Changes should be made in small steps.
• Adjustments should be made in ¼ or 90° turn increments.
• Test re the airgun before making further adjustments.
• Write down and save the adjustments you make in case you need to retrace your steps.
1. Before making adjustments to the screw, make sure the airgun is “ONSAFE”, pointed in a
SAFE DIRECTION, unloaded and not cocked.
2. Access the adjustment screw at the rear of the trigger through the hole in the trigger
guard (seeFig.8). NOTE: The size and position of the hole in the trigger guard may vary
among models.
3. To decrease the second stage length, rotate the adjusting screw clockwise.
4. To increase the second stage length, rotate the adjusting screw counterclockwise.
10. MAINTENANCE
A. General Maintenance
• DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE YOUR AIRGUN.
• DO NOT MODIFY OR ALTER YOUR AIRGUN. ATTEMPTS TO MODIFY THE AIRGUN IN ANY WAY INCONSISTENT WITH THIS MANUAL MAY MAKE
YOUR AIRGUN UNSAFE TO USE, CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH, AND WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.
• USE CROSMAN SILICONE CHAMBER OIL ONLY AND DO NOT OVEROIL. TO DO SO CAN CAUSE POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO THE AIRGUN AND INJURY TO
THE SHOOTER AND BYSTANDERS.
1. Periodically tighten all stock screws.
2. Periodically check and tighten scope mounts.
3. Periodically check your airgun. If anything seems changed, like a shorter or weaker trigger pull, this may mean worn out or
broken parts. Call customer service for assistance before using your airgun again.
4. Your airgun will maintain proper function longer if you oil it every 250 shots. Apply one drop of Crosman Silicone Oil into the
compression chamber (Fig.9) (model rmcoil- available at crosman.com).
5. DO NOT use petroleum distillate based oil or solvent and DO NOT over-oil as this can cause damage to your airgun.
6. If you drop the airgun, visually inspect for damage before using again. If anything seems changed, like a shorter or weaker trig-
ger pull, this may mean broken parts. Call Crosman Customer Service for assistance before using you airgun again.
B. Break in Period
• There may be up to a 100 shot break in period. After the break in period, your airgun will be more consistent and quieter.

Many factors aect velocity, including brand of projectile, type of projectile, lubrication, barrel condition and temperature. This airgun was designed to function best with
CROSMAN® and BENJAMIN® branded ammunition. Use of other ammunition may cause the airgun to malfunction.

LIMITED FIVE YEAR WARRANTY
Your break-barrel airgun is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years. You should retain the original sales receipt as record of date of purchase.
If no receipt, your break-barrel airgun is warranted for 5 years from date of manufacture. This warranty does not cover gun sights, optical sights (ries scopes, lasers, and
red dot sights), slings and/or other accessories. In the event of a defect under this warranty, Crosman will, at its option, repair or replace the product; provided, however, its
inspection indicates that an original defect exists. Crosman reserves the right to replace any product which is no longer available with a product of comparable value and function.
If Crosman determines the repair is not covered under the warranty guidelines, there could be a charge to you for the repair.
WHAT IS COVERED:
1. Parts and Repair of any factory defect of material or workmanship.
2. Transportation charges to consumer for the repaired product and/or replacement product.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
1. Transportation charges to Authorized Service Station for defective product.
2. Normal wear and tear from regular use.
3. Damaged parts as a result from misuse, neglect or tampering.
4. Damage caused by dry-re, abuse, modication or failure to perform normal maintenance – see Owner’s Manual.
5. Improper installation or maintenance performed by someone other than a Crosman Authorized Service Station.
6. Any other expense.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR INCIDENTAL EXPENSES, INCLUDING DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR ANY OTHER
EXPENSE. CROSMAN DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION
OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO
YOU. TO THE EXTENT ANY PROVISION OF THIS WARRANTY IS PROHIBITED BY FEDERAL, STATE OR MUNICIPAL LAW, IT SHALL NOT BE APPLICABLE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC
LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE AND COUNTRY TO COUNTRY.

If your airgun needs repair - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE IT! Your airgun requires special tools and xtures to repair it. Any disassembly or modication not performed by a
Crosman Authorized Service Center will void the warranty.
