Read and understand this owner's manual before
operang the generator. Failure to do so could result in
personal injury or equipment damage.
Exhaust gas contains poisonous carbon monoxide.
Never run the generator in an enclosed area
Be sure to provide adequate venlaon
The muer becomes very hot during operaon and
remains hot for several minutes aer stopping the
engine.
Be careful not to touch the muer while it is hot.
Let the engine cool before storing the generator
indoors.

Keep away from naked ames when refueling the
generator.
Wipe up spilled gasoline at once.
This generator is not intended, nor designed, for use
as a standby power supply, or to be connected to an
automac transfer switch (ATS); it should never be
used as such. Severe property damage and/or severe
personal injury or death may result. Such back feed
may electrocute ulity company workers or others who
contact the lines during a power outage. When ulity
power is restored the generator may explode, burn, or
cause res in the building’s electrical system.
To avoid accidents or equipment damage, always make
a pre-operaon inspecon before you start the engine.
Place the generator at least 3  (1 m) away from
buildings or other equipment during operaon.
Operate the generator on a level surface. If the
generator is lted, fuel spillage may result.
Know how to stop the generator quickly and
understand the operaon of all of the controls. Never
permit anyone to operate the generator without
proper instrucons.
Keep children and pets away from the generator when
it is in operaon.

