FLAME RETARDANT ELEMENT AND SCREEN
!
WARNING: Engine and muer become very hot
when running. Avoid touching the engine and muer and
ensure engine and muer have cooled before inspecng
element and screen.
1. Remove screws on both sides,
and disassemble exhaust cover.

2. Loosen clamp, and remove
ame retardant element locking
cap.

3. Use a wire brush to remove
carbon deposits frrom ame
retardant element and screen.
⑤ Flame retardant element

NOTE: When cleaning, use
a so wire brush to lightly brush
avoiding damaging or scratching
ame retardant element.
4. Check the ame retardant element and screen. Replace
them if damaged.
5. Install ame retardant element and screen into locking
cap, and then to muer, with clamp to ghten them.
6. Install exhaust cover, and ghten the screws on both
sides.
