FLAME RETARDANT ELEMENT AND SCREEN

WARNING: Engine and muer become very hot
when running. Avoid touching the engine and muer and
ensure engine and muer have cooled before inspecng
element and screen.
1. Remove screws on both sides,
and disassemble exhaust cover.

2. Loosen clamp, and remove
ame retardant element locking
cap.
③ Clamp
④ Locking cap
3. Use a wire brush to remove
carbon deposits frrom ame
retardant element and screen.
⑤ Flame retardant element
⑥ Screen

NOTE: When cleaning, use
a so wire brush to lightly brush
avoiding damaging or scratching
ame retardant element.
4. Check the ame retardant element and screen. Replace
them if damaged.
5. Install ame retardant element and screen into locking
cap, and then to muer, with clamp to ghten them.
6. Install exhaust cover, and ghten the screws on both
sides.
