E61 Temp Temp probe broken (Alaris only) No Replace temperature probe
E63 Temp Temp probe disconnected (Alaris only) Yes Check for correct probe
E66 Temp Temp probe too hot (Alaris only) Yes Replace probe
E-- Temp Temp scanner error (Exergen only) Yes Check Exergen battery, and
check for valid temperature
value. Also check the
scanner’s display for
Exergen error information.

E80 NIBP Overpressure Yes Excess cuff pressure. Check
for pinched or occluded
internal tubing.
E82 NIBP Excess air in cuff Yes Determination cannot be
made due to an excess
amount of air in the cuff.
E83 NIBP NIBP pump timeout Yes
Leak in cuff or o-ring in
hose
Internal leak in tubing or
pneumatic valve
Pump not turning on
Check or replace hose or
cuff.
E84 NIBP NIBP total timeout Yes Length of time has
exceeded 2 minutes for an
adult/pediatric
