TPMC-15/17-L Series Touchpanel Media Centers
When installing the software, consider the following:
• The network adapter card must be installed face down in the slot (refer to
Caution and Notes on page 52).
• If the installation software asks you to insert the adapter card, eject the
wireless adapter card and re-insert it into the slot on the rear of the
TPMC-15/17-L. Cancel the “Found New Hardware Wizard” window if it
appears.
• If the installation software asks you if you would like to use the Windows
Zero Configuration Utility, click Yes, then click Next.
• If the installation software asks you to enter a wireless network name, skip
this step by clicking Exit.
To complete the final installation steps, follow the procedure in the
“Post-installation” section (refer to page 53).
Installing Cisco Wireless B/G
Follow the instructions on the manufacturer’s website or those that came with your
adapter card.
When installing the software, consider the following:
• The network adapter card must be installed face down in the slot (refer to
Caution and Notes on page 52).
• If the installation software asks you to choose the setup type, select Install
Driver Only, then click Next.
• If the installation software asks you if you wish to install the Cisco Aironet
Site Survey Utility, be sure to leave the check box blank (i.e. unchecked),
then click Next.
• If the installation software asks you to insert the adapter card, eject the
wireless adapter card and re-insert it into the slot on the rear of the
TPMC-15/17-L. Cancel the “Found New Hardware Wizard” window if it
appears.
To complete the final installation steps, follow the procedure in the
“Post-installation” section (refer to page 53).
Installing Skype
Follow the instructions on the manufacturer’s website or those that came with your
software.
When installing the software, consider the following:
• If the installation software asks you if you wish to create a desktop icon or
if you wish to “Start Skype when the computer starts”, be sure to leave the
check boxes blank (i.e. unchecked) as these are not supported by the
TPMC-15/17-L. Then click Next.
• If the installation software displays a “Launch Skype” check box, be sure to
leave the check box blank (i.e. unchecked). Then click Finish.
To complete the final installation steps, follow the procedure in the
“Post-installation” section (refer to page 53).
