“Installation – Continue” Window (for Applications)
“Installation – Continue” Window (for Wireless Adapters)
When installing a wireless adapter, the “Installation – Continue” window also
contains a warning for wireless adapter installation. The warning says that before
clicking OK to start the installation, you must insert the wireless card into the
desired slot on the rear of the touchpanel. The installers for some wireless cards will
prompt you to insert the card during the installation. In such cases, you will need to
remove and re-insert the card.
Cancel the “Found New Hardware Wizard” window if it appears after installing the
wireless card.
CAUTION: For proper operation and to avoid possible equipment damage, wireless
network adapter cards should be installed face down. To allow easier access to the
second card slot, Crestron recommends installing your wireless network adapter card
in the bottom slot.
NOTE: The wireless card will work only in the slot in which it is inserted during
driver installation. To make the card work in the other slot, you need to uninstall its
driver and then re-install it while the card is inserted in the other slot.
NOTE: Do not configure wireless adapters using the installer’s utility. Instead, wait
until installation has completed and committed. Then use the utility available from
the ETHERNET section of the SETUP MENU (refer to “Ethernet” which starts on
page 41).
When you have browsed to and selected the desired installation file, the path to the
file will show in the Select Setup File section of the window. Click OK to open the
“Crestron Installation - Continue” window.
