TPMC-15/17-L SETUP MENU
The SETUP MENU provides access to all basic functions and parameters. It is
divided into SETUP, ETHERNET, STANDBY TIMEOUT, HARD KEY FEEDBACK,
MISC. CONTROLS, SCREEN BRIGHTNESS, HARD KEY BACKLIGHT and
SHUTDOWN sections. An Install & Uninstall button is also provided for adding
third-party software applications like Skype™ and for installing wireless network
cards.
NOTE: To allow the touchpanel to upload projects, Standby Timeout is disabled
until approximately five minutes after the project is loaded.
To exit the SETUP MENU and return to the program, press Exit, located at the
bottom of the SETUP MENU. To reboot the touchpanel, press Save & Reboot,
located in the SHUTDOWN section of the SETUP MENU.
SETUP MENU Details
The SETUP MENU allows configuration of the touchpanel’s settings for security,
Cresnet, RS-232 communications, display, runtime project, video, audio, annotation
and embedded applications.
Security
The Security button opens the “Security Setup” window, which allows the user to
change the username and password of the system account, setup and close network
connections and clear Internet browser temporary files, history and cookies.
NOTE: To use the on-screen keyboard for security settings, press Show Keyboard
on the STARTUP MENU before pressing Security.
