C2Net-Device Slot in Configuration Manager
The C2Net-Device slot (05) enables the QM-RMCRX-BA to control up to 252
Cresnet devices. Each Cresnet device is assigned a unique identifier called a Net ID,
which is a hexadecimal value ranging from 03 to FE.
To view the list of supported devices, expand the control system in the bottom pane
of System Views and double-click the C2Net-Device slot, the desired Net ID, or
right-click and select Add Item from the submenu. Then select the device you want
to add. Alternatively, you can drag the device from the Cresnet Control Modules
folder onto the Net ID. Supported devices include network control modules, lighting
modules and a variety of Crestron wired touchpanels.
The QM-FTCC-TPS4 is actually two devices in a single housing, so to incorporate a
QM-FTCC-TPS4 into the system, you need to drag both the touchpanel (TPS4) and
the QuickMedia module (QM-FTCC) into System Views individually. Drag the
QM-FTCC (TPS-4/Cresnet) from the Touchpanels | Touchpanels (Cresnet) folder of
the Device Library and drop it in System Views. Then, drag the QM-FTCC (QM-
FTCC) from the Cresnet Control Modules | QM Series folder of the Device Library
and drop it in System Views. The QM-RMCRX-BA system tree displays the TPS4
and the QM-FTCC module in Slot 5. The touchpanel has a default Net ID of 03, and
the QuickMedia module has a default Net ID of 1A. Within the QuickMedia module
are two slots, Basic Controls and Microphone Controls. Refer to the following
illustration.

NOTE: Alternatively, the TPS4 touchpanel could be connected to the control
system via Ethernet instead of Cresnet.
Setting the Net ID in Device Settings
Double-click the QM-FTCC-TPS (QM-FTCC) icon in the upper pane to open the
“Device Settings” window. This window displays QM-FTCC-TPS (QM-FTCC)
device information. The Net ID can be changed in this window using the Net ID tab,
as shown in the following figure.
