Crestron HD-MD8X1/HD-MD8X2 QuickSwitch HD HDMI Switcher EDID EDID is a data structure that HDMI receivers use to indicate their capabilities to the HDMI sources. The HD-MD8X1/2 routes HDMI signals from any of the eight video inputs to one or two (HD-MD8X2 only) output channels. According to the HDMI standard, HDMI sources are expected to only deliver audio and video formats that are supported by the destination. To configure video/audio EDID, use the DMTool in Crestron Toolbox.
