MRX-4IR Network Base Station The MRX-4IR is an elegant little solution for places you don’t want to run Cat5, use a separate remote, or where it doesn’t make sense to add an Advanced MRX Network Controller. Communicating over a network using Wi-Fi or a wired LAN connection, the MRX-4IR receives commands from the System Controller and relays them, via IR, to other devices in the system. It features four IR flasher outputs and a front IR blaster.

In some cases, traditional transmission frequencies of 418MHz can be nearly blocked. As a solution, URC supplies an alternative RF communication of 433MHz known as URC’s “i-series” (for example MX-980i). Most of our popular remotes and controllers are available in 433MHz versions as well as the traditional frequency of 418MHz.
