Introduction Introduction
The DM-TX-200-C-2G-FLOOR/DM-TX-200-C-2G-WALL is a DM 8G+™
transmitter and switcher that provides a convenient interface for computers and
high-definition AV sources as part of a complete DigitalMedia™ system.
The DM-TX-200-C-2G-FLOOR/DM-TX-200-C-2G-WALL connects to the head
end or display location using a single CAT5e or Crestron

DM 8G
®
cable.
The DM-TX-200-C-2G-FLOOR installs in a floor box (not included) or in an open,
ventilated area (for example, under a table). With both HDMI

* For DM 8G+ wiring up to 330 feet (100 meters) between devices, use Crestron DM-CBL-8G
DigitalMedia 8G™ cable, Crestron DM-CBL DigitalMedia cable, Crestron DM-CBL-D DigitalMedia
D cable, or generic CAT5e (or better) UTP or STP. Shielded cable and connectors are recommended
to safeguard against unpredictable environmental electrical noise which may impact performance at
resolutions above 1080p. Refer to the latest version of the Crestron DigitalMedia Infrastructure Guide
(Doc. 4556) for complete wiring guidelines and to the Crestron DigitalMedia Design Guide (Doc.
