Crestron DIN-8SW8-I DIN Rail High-Voltage Switch
Operation
NET ID
Use the NET ID buttons to change the Net ID of the DIN-8SW8-I. For
information on Net ID, refer to “Identity Code” which starts on page 11.
Manual
Control
The state of each output can be manually controlled from the front panel.
To toggle the output between off and on, tap the appropriate button
(1 – 8). The corresponding LED illuminates and the output state is shown
on the NET ID display (“oF” for off, “On” for on) for two seconds after
the button is released.
NOTE: The control system program may change the settings if the
Override mode is not enabled.
Local
Control
When operating the DIN-8SW8-I without a control system, each relay
will toggle whenever a pulse is received on its corresponding digital
input. (e.g. INPUT 1 toggles RELAY 1 and INPUT 3 toggles RELAY
3). A control system can be added at a later date to expand functionality.
Remote
Control
When operating the DIN-8SW8-I with a control system (e.g., DIN-AP2,
sold separately) the digital inputs report their state to the control system.
The control system then performs the appropriate actions based upon the
SIMPL program. The SIMPL program determines which state the inputs
are in and must be configured properly in the program.
