password is recommended. For information about changing the username

and password, refer to “Login Information” on page 17

4. Click Login. The “Device Status” screen (the default screen of the switch)

opens.

Navigating the Configuration Utility

Use the navigation menu on the left side of the screen to navigate the configuration

utility. The menu is always visible on the left side of the screen, with the currently

selected screen highlighted in red. The menu provides five selections: Device Status,

Device Settings, Port Settings, POE Settings and Port Mirroring. The “Device

Status” screen is the default screen that appears upon login, as shown in the image

above.
