Pocket Replacement Window Installation Instructions
Project Scope
Measuring for a Perfect Fit
This window modernization method uses the existing
window frame, sill, and the interior trim.
The new unit is sized to fit into the existing window
frame and butt against the outside stops.
After removing the old window sash and some stops
the opening is repaired as needed, the new window
installed, insulation added, and lastly trim is applied as
needed.
Our energy efficient replacement products are made to
your exact specifications. You must provide accurate
measurements to ensure a proper fit. Please refer to
the the following instructions for measuring the width
and height, including the existing exterior brickmould
trim or flat casing trim on your window. Each measure-
ment has been assigned a letter code, i.e. A, B, C, etc.
Record measurements in the corresponding column on
the appropriate order form on the following pages.
