2. Before rst use
•Ensurethatthepowersupplyinyourhomecorresponds
to that on the model plate on the base of the appliance.
•Connecttheappliancetoapowersource.
•Allapplianceshavebeentestedduringproduction
to ensure they work perfectly. Before using the
appliance for the first time you should rinse the milk
container, the lid and the whisk with hot water then
dry thoroughly.
3. Froth or heat milk
•Ensurethattheapplianceisconnectedtothepower
source.
•Usethebuttontoraisethelid.
•Themaximumllinglevelindicated
on the appliance should not
be exceeded. If this maximum
filling level is exceeded hot milk
could overflow and cause burns
or scalding. Max. filling level for
frothed milk: 150 ml, Max. filling
level for warm milk: 250 ml (see
level indicators on appliance).
•Onlyusethemilkfrotherto
prepare hot / cold frothed milk
or to heat milk, do not use to
heat other liquids.
•Avoidcontactbetweenmilk/
water and the power cable and
power connections.
•Donotusethemilkfrother
without the lid. Do not open
the lid during use.
•Nevertouchtheappliancewith
wet hands or feet.
•Theinsideofthemilkfrother
gets very hot and remains hot
for some time after use because
of the heating element in it.
Avoid contact with the inside of
the milk frother.
•Neverimmersetheappliancein
water.
•Donotcleanpartswhichcome
into contact with water or cof-
fee (e.g. water tank, filter, cof-
fee pot) with abrasive cleaning
materials or scouring cream.
Remove detergent residues
with clean water.
•Pleasenotethecleaningand
care information at point 4.
•Theapplianceshouldbediscon-
nected from the power supply
when it is left unsupervised
or before being assembled or
