6. When a dialog box similar to Figure 2-15
appears, click the Next button.
7. When a dialog box similar to Figure 2-16
appears, select the COM port to which your
modem is attached and then click the Next
button.
8. Follow the remaining onscreen instructions to
complete the installation of the modem.
Installing Software
in Windows 3.1x
1. Set up the modem as specified in Chapter 1, “Installing the Modem”.
2. Switch on your computer and run your communications software.
In the communications software, select the COM port assigned to your modem.
