• Repeat the steps above if you want your webcam to be the default recording
device subsequently.
An application reports that the video driver is already in use, or that the
camera cannot be found.
The camera is not properly connected.
To resolve this problem:
4. Ensure that the camera’s USB connector is inserted, and that the USB
connector is enabled in the BIOS. Refer to your computer’s documentation for
information on the BIOS.
5. Reinstall the video capture drivers and restart your computer.
My computer cannot detect the camera when I connect the camera with
an extended USB cable.
To resolve this problem:
❑ Connect the camera directly to a USB port on your computer.
Make sure the camera is connected to the USB port at the back of your computer.
Some USB ports at the front of computers may not supply sufficient power for
your camera.
