Uninstalling Modem Drivers 4-6

Uninstalling the

Modem in

Windows XP

1. Click

Start

Control Panel

2. Click the

Add or Remove Programs

icon.

3. In the

Add or Remove Programs

dialog box similar to Figure 4-5, click the

Change/Remove

button.

4. When Windows prompts you to remove the modem, click the

Yes

button.

5. Click the

button.

6. Turn off your computer and remove the modem card from your system.
