3 Select the Screen Saver tab.
4 Click the Password Protected check box.
5 Click the Change button.
6 Type the desired password.
7 Retype the password to confirm it and click OK.
8 Click OK.
Power usage mode
Fn + This hot key displays the power usage pop-up window and
cycles through the battery save modes.
The power usage modes in the Windows
®
operating system
under battery power are:
Long Life
Normal
High Power
DVD Playback
Presentation
Super Long Life
The power usage mode in Windows 2000 under AC power
is Full Power only.
The properties of each mode are set in the Toshiba Power
Saver utility. For more information, see “Power Saver” on
page 175.
