Windows® 98 Troubleshooting
Supervisor-level passwords
A supervisor-level password protects system settings by restricting
who can make changes in Toshiba Utilities. This is useful if more
than one person is using the computer.
To set the supervisor-level password:
1 Click on Start, then Run.
2 Click the Browse button.
3 Double-click on the My Computer icon, and then double-
click on the C drive.
4 Click Program Files, Toshiba, and then the Windows Utilities
folder.
5 Click on the SVPWTool folder, and then double-click the
SVPW32 icon.
6 Click OK.
7 Enter the password information and then click OK.

operations, chances are the program has stopped responding. You
can exit the failed program without shutting down the
