Configuring Advanced Features 5-4
DMZ Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) is a computer host or small network inserted as a
"neutral zone" between a company's private network and the outside public
network. It allows access from the Internet to the host computer.
1. Connect to your DSL Router’s home
page. See "Connecting to your DSL
Router’s Home Page" on page 4-2.
2. Click Configuration -> Advanced
Settings -> DMZ.
3. When the web page similar to Figure
5-4 appears, click the Enable DMZ
box.
4. In the DMZ IP Address Setting box,
type the IP Address of the local
server’s computer.
5. Click the Submit button.
6. Click the OK button.
7. Wait for your DSL Router to restart.
