Installing Modem
Drivers in
Windows 2000
1. Turn on your computer to allow the operating
system to detect the modem.
2. When the
Found New Hardware Wizard
dialog box similar to Figure 3-14 appears, insert
the Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive
and click the
Cancel
button.
3. Click
Start
->
Run
.
4. Click the
Browse
button to locate the setup file
in
E:\Drivers\Win2K\HXFSetup.exe
(where
E: represents your CD-ROM Drive), and then
click the
OK
button.
5. When the dialog box similar to Figure 3-15
appears, click the
