Installing Modem
Drivers in
Windows 98/98 SE
1. Turn on your computer to allow the operating
system to detect the modem.
2. When the dialog box similar to Figure 3-8
appears, insert the Installation CD into your CD-
ROM drive and then click the
Cancel
button.
3. Click
Start
->
Run
.
4. Click the
Browse
button and locate the setup file
in
E:\Drivers\Win98\HXFSetup.exe
(where E:
represents your CD-ROM drive).
5. Click the
OK
button to complete the installation.
