Instructions to User
Dear Users,
Thank you very much for purchasing our product. Please read the following information very
carefully before using this device.
Read these instructions carefully before using this monitor. These instructions describe the
operating procedures to be followed strictly. Failure to follow these instructions can cause
monitoring abnormity, equipment damage and personal injury. The manufacturer is NOT
responsible for the safety, reliability and performance issues and any monitoring abnormality,
personal injury and equipment damage due to user’s negligence of the operation instructions.
The manufacturer’s warranty service does not cover such faults.
Do NOT operate this monitor in the circumstance where flammable gas or
explosion factor exists.
To ensure patient safety, do NOT place the monitor in any position that might
cause it to fall on patient.
The user must check that the equipment functions safely and ensure that it is in
proper working condition before being used.
If used with High Frequency (HF) surgery please note the positioning of
Cerebral State Monitor sensor. In order to reduce the hazard of burns
,
the
sensors should not be located between the surgical site and the electro-surgical
unit return sensor.
When connect this monitor with multi-parameter central monitor, the
equipotential grounding terminal must be connected with the shell of central
monitor, and make sure that the terminal is connected with the grounding wire
reliably to make the unit which connected with this monitor and this monitor
are in the same equipotential circumstance.
Pay attention if the monitor is connected to a patient connected to other
equipment. The total of leakage current may exceed the allowable limit and
cause a possible hazard to the patient.
The unit which is connected to this monitor should be in accordance with
international requirements for medical device.
Please shut down the monitor and remove sensors during MRI scanning, or else
induced current could potentially cause burns. The monitor may affect the MRI
image, and the MRI unit may affect the accuracy of monitor measurements.
Although biocompatibility tests have been performed on all the applied parts,
some exceptional allergic patients may still have anaphylaxis. Do NOT apply to
those who suffer from anaphylaxis.
All the cables and rubber tubes of the applied parts should be kept away from
the patient’s cervix to prevent any possible suffocation of the patient.
All the parts of the monitor should NOT be replaced at will. If necessary, please
use the components provided by the manufacturer or those of the same model
