1.1 Quick Start > Setup > Batteries Unscrew the battery door at the bottom Press the “Push” cover and insert the first set of 4 AA batteries into the camera with correct polarity (negative or “flat” end against the long spring of each battery slot). For the second set of batteries, please open the battery case and insert as shown in the pictures below.
Quick Start > Setup > SIM & SD Card 1.2 Step 3: Insert SIM card and SD card • If you have a Nano SIM Card (smallest size), please use the included SIM Card adapter to get it to Standard Size. • If you have a MicroSD Card, you will need an SD Card Adapter to convert it to the required size. • Please make sure your SIM Card has a data plan or credit on it if you are planning on using the 3G & MMS functions. We recommend testing the SIM card first on your mobile phone to make sure it’s activated.

3.3 Introduction > Power Supply is much poorer than NiMH batteries. ***Batteries should be inserted as indicated inside the battery case. Upside down batteries may cause device malfunction. Also, we strongly recommend changing the batteries when power icon on camera screen or photo stamp is empty.
3.4 Introduction > Power Supply Solar Panel To offer you a better user experience, our engineers designed this camera to be able to work with most standard 12V/2A lithium battery built-in solar panels. However, as rechargeable AA NiMH batteries need higher voltage for charging, that solar panel can’t charge the batteries while using them in the camera battery cases. Power Adaptor—Security Surveillance Purpose This camera can also be powered by an external 12V/ 2A DC adapter.

3.5 Introduction > USB Connection 3.5 USB Connection When the camera is connected via USB cable; screen displays “MSDC”. Now, you can download and view all the photos and videos that you have saved on your micro SD card. We recommend this option of downloading in case you don’t have a micro SD card reader to insert into your PC. 3.6 Things to Keep in mind & Warnings 1. 4.5 Operation Menu > CAMERA [CAM] - CAMERA MENU Settings Cam ID Cam Mode Programmable Options Select “On” then press “OK”, to set 4 digits/alphabets for each camera. Operation Menu > PIR 4.5 [PIR] - PROXIMITY SENSING Settings Sensitivity Programmable Options High/Middle/Low Higher sensitivity means: 1. The camera is more sensitive to movements of smaller subjects; 2. Longer detection distance; 3. Easier for the sensor to detect differences between body heat and outdoor temperature; 4. Easier to trigger the camera to record. IMPORTANT: In a high-temperature environment, the body heat of the subjects and environment temperature are harder to be detected by the camera.
4.5 Operation Menu > PIR [PIR] - PROXIMITY SENSING Settings Delay Programmable Options Select “ON” and press “OK”, to set a time interval that you desire between photos/videos upon motion. This option helps you avoid taking too many photos or videos.
Operation Menu > 3G 4.5 [3G] - MOBILE SETTINGS SIM Auto Match The camera will automatically enter MMS & 3G setups when the SIM card is inserted. This is valid only for AT&T SIM Cards. These functions will only work properly with AT&T Sim Cards. For connecting it to other networks, please contact us directly.

4.5 Operation Menu > 3G SD Cycle Select “On”, then press “OK” - the camera will continue to record photos/videos by deleting earliest photos or video clips. This feature is called also Loop Recording. Reset Select “Yes” to reset the camera back to factory default settings. 6 Troubleshooting 6.1 Photos Do Not Capture Subject of Interest 1. Check the “Sensor Level” (PIR sensitivity) parameter setting. For warm environmental conditions, set the Sensor Level to “High” and for cold weather use, set the sensor to “Low”. 2. Try to set up your camera in an area where no heat sources are in the camera’s field of view. 3. In some cases, setting the camera near water will make the camera take images with no subject in them (because of reflections).
6 Troubleshooting 4. When GPRS / 3G function is on, there will be around 1-2 minutes interval for the camera to send out photo before the camera will shoot the next photo. If you turn off the GPRS / 3G, the camera will shoot photos continuously. 5.
