Installation Instructions:
1. Its is recommended you use (8) Climbing Rocks for a rock wall on a 4’ deck, (12) Climbing Rocks for a
rock wall on a 5’ deck, or (16) Climbing Rocks for a rock wall on a 7’ deck.
2. Mark the locations for your Climbing Rocks on your Rock Wall, creating a challenging, yet safe path for
your child to follow. Make certain all holes will be clear of the rock wall supports underneath.
3. Drill 3/8’’ holes through your rock wall at the locations marked in step 2. Install rocks as shown in
(Fig. 1). Select the bolt lengths based on the board thickness on your rock wall, ie:
1 1/2’’ board = 2’’ Hex Head Bolt, 1’’ board = 1 1/2’’ Hex Head Bolt, 1’’ board or thinner = 1 1/4’’ Hex Head Bolt
4. Make certain all hardware is fully tightened before allowing children to use the nished Rock Wall.
NOTE: Barrier opening for Rock Wall must be 24’’ minimum. No obstacles or play structures may be within 6’ of Rock Wall
sides or bottom to prevent overlapping play zones.
