11. AC Line Cord: The grounded power cord
should only be plugged into a grounded
power outlet that meets all applicable electri-
cal codes and is compatible with the voltage,
power, and frequency requirements stated on
the rear panel. Do not attempt to defeat the
safety ground connection.
12. Speaker Connector: The V16 is shipped
with a 1/4” cable connected from the chassis
to the internal speaker. To connect the ampli-
fier to an external speaker cabinet, discon-
nect the 1/4” plug from the amplifier and use
the jack to connect the external cabinet to the
amplifier by means of a heavy duty speaker
cable terminated with 1/4” plugs. The mini-
mum impedance for the external speaker is
16 ohms.
