7.0 Operational Checkout
The following procedure can be used to verify that the system has been installed properly
and that it is operational following installation.
This procedure is divided into two parts; first, is a visual inspection that can be performed
prior to turning the system on; and second, is a step-by-step procedure that shall be
performed to ensure the system is fully operational. Troubleshooting is embedded within
the body of this procedure.
7.1.1 Visual Inspection
The following should be checked visually. If you notice defects, immediately notify
NanoLumens.
 Are all cables correctly connected? (See Figure 17: Overall System Configuration)
 Is the power cable from the Power Supply connected to a reliable 110VAC power
outlet?
 Are the cables from the PC and the Display Controller Unit properly connected?
 Are any of the amber, red, and green LEDs on the back of the Flexible Display
illuminated?
 Is there any noticeable damage to the Flexible Display?
 Is the fan in the Power Supply running?
