2. Using the 18 Volt Power Supply, connect the Display Controller Unit into a 110-
240VAC power outlet.
NOTE: The Display Controller has been calibrated to work
specifically with the NanoLumens Flexible Display
that has been shipped with.
6.5.3 Step 3. Power Up and Test the System
1. Press the Power button on the front of the Display Controller Unit to turn it on.
The button should glow blue. If it does not, the Display Controller Unit is not
getting power.
NOTE: ALWAYS TURN ON AND OFF THE SYSTEM BY PRESSING THIS
BUTTON. NEVER DISCONNECT THE POWER CABLE WHILE THE UNIT IS
OPERATION. THE SYSTEM NEEDS A PROPER SHUTDOWN.
The Flexible Display screen displays the image that appears on the Media Player.
6.5.3.1 Troubleshooting
The first time the Display Controller Unit is powered ON, it will automatically search for
the first Video Source it can find in the following order:
1.
VGA
2.
Composite
3.
S-Video
4.
DVI
If the Display Controller Unit does not detect an input signal connector, the Flexible
Display displays the message “No Input”.
Manual Configuration with the Configuration Buttons
If you have more than one Video Source connected to the Display Controller Unit, you
may use the three Configuration buttons on the front of the Display Controller Unit to
manually cycle through to the source you desire.
Press on the Input Select button. Each time the button is pressed, the Video Source input
type will forward to the next in line, as per the diagram, above.
