ingthe threeself-tappingscrewsthatsecureit. SeeFigure23.
3. Loosenthe bolt shownin Figure24securingthe beltkeeper
bracketandremovetheotherbolt. Pushthe beltkeeperand
bracketup offthe enginepulley.SeeFigure24.
Auger Belt Replacement
1. Removethe hairpinclip andflatwasherfromthe ferruleinorder
to disconnectthe augeridlerrodfromthe brakebracketassem-
bly.SeeFigure25.
NOTE:Makesurethatthe locationof the ferruleontheauger
idlerrodis maintained.
2. Slipthe augercontrolbelt (the frontbelt)offthe enginepulley.
3. Pullthe brakebracketassemblytowardsthe cableguideroller
andunhookthe augercable"Z" fitting.SeeFigure26.
4. Frombothsidesof the the frameassembly,usea 1/2"wrenchto
removethe threehex tap screwssecuringthe frameto theauger
housingassembly.Referto Figure22 on previouspage.
NOTE:Do notremovethe lowerhexflangelocknut oneachside.
5. Placea blockof woodunderneaththe augerhousingasshownin
Figure27andseparateaugerhousingfromthe framebytiltingthe
housingforwardandpullingupthehandles.
6. Blockthe impellerwitha pieceof woodto preventit fromspinning
andusea 1/2" wrenchto removethe hexscrewandflatwasher
fromthecenterofthe pulleyon the augerhousing.SeeFigure28.
7. Liftthe brakebracketassemblyout of the pulleygrooveandslide
thepulleyassemblyoffthe postsof the augerpulleyadapterto
removetheoldbelt.Referto Figure28.
