ONE-PIECEDOORINSTALLATIONS
• Generally,a one-piece door does not require reinforcement. If
your door is lightweight, refer to the information relatingto
sectional doors in Installation Step 12.
• Dependingon your door's construction, you may need
additional mounting hardwarefor the door bracket (Step 12).
Without a properly working safety reversalsystem, persons
(particularly small children) could be SERIOUSLYINJUREDor
KILLEDby a closing garagedoor.
• The gap betweenthe bottom of the garage door and the floor
MUST NOTexceed1/4" (6 mm). Otherwise,the safety
reversalsystem may not work properly.
• The floor or the garage door MUST be repairedto eliminate
the gap.
