ONE-PIECEDOORINSTALLATIONS
Generally,a one-piece door does not require reinforcement. If
your door is lightweight, refer to the information relatingto
sectional doors in Installation Step 12.
Dependingon your door's construction, you may need
additional mounting hardwarefor the door bracket (Step 12).
Without a properly working safety reversalsystem, persons
(particularly small children) could be SERIOUSLYINJUREDor
KILLEDby a closing garagedoor.
The gap betweenthe bottom of the garage door and the floor
MUST NOTexceed1/4" (6 mm). Otherwise,the safety
reversalsystem may not work properly.
The floor or the garage door MUST be repairedto eliminate
the gap.
