1. Unpacking Your Fan. Carefully open the packaging. Remove items from Styrofoam inserts. Remove motor housing and place on carpet or Styrofoam to avoid damage to finish. Do not discard fan carton or Styrofoam inserts should this fan need to be returned for repairs. Check against parts inventory that all parts have been included. 2. 3. Installation Preparation. 12ft. - 20ft. (3.66m - 6.1m) blade edge To prevent personal injury and damage, ensure that the hanging location allows the blades a clearance of 7ft. (2.13m) from the floor and 30in. (76cm) from any wall or obstruction. This fan is suitable for room sizes up to 400 square feet (37.2 square meters). 30 inches 7 feet (76cm) (2.13m) 12ft. - 20ft. (3.66m - 6.1m) This fan can be mounted with a downrod on a regular (no-slope) or vaulted ceiling.
. Fan Assembly (with downrod). set screw stop pin Remove hanging ball from downrod provided by loosening set screw on hanging ball. Lower hanging ball and remove stop pin and then slide hanging ball off of the downrod. [Refer to diagram 1.] Loosen yoke set screws and nuts at top of motor housing. Remove pin and clip from motor housing yoke. [Refer to diagram 2.
5. Fan Assembly (with downrod). (cont.) With the mounting plate and hanging bracket secured to the outlet box and able to support the fan, you are now ready to hang your fan. Grab the fan firmly with two hands. Slide downrod through opening in hanging bracket and let hanging ball rest on the hanging bracket. Turn the hanging ball slot until it lines up with the hanging bracket tab.
6. Fan Assembly (flushmount). (cont) To prepare the fan for wiring, hang fan onto mounting plate by sliding the canopy over the "J" hook on the mounting plate. (Use one of the non-slotted holes on the rim of the canopy to do so.) mounting plate Attach safety cable per instructions in last paragraph of Section 5, page 5. canopy "J" hook motor housing 7. Wiring. WARNING: Turn off circuit breakers to current fixture from breaker panel and be sure switch is turned to the OFF position.
7. Wiring. (cont) Remove existing wall switch. outlet box Wire the wall control as follows, using wire connectors provided to secure each connection: Connect BLACK wire with WHITE STRIPE (AC IN L) from wall control to BLACK (AC IN L) wire in the outlet box. Connect SOLID BLACK (TO MOTOR L) wire from wall control to BLACK wire from fan in the outlet box. Connect BLUE (FOR LIGHT) wire from wall control to BLUE wire from light in the outlet box.

SUGERENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD. 1. Desempaquetado del ventilador. Abrir el empaque cuidadosamente. Sacar los artículos del embalaje. Sacar el motor y ponerlo en una alfombra o en el embalaje para evitar rayar el acabado. Guardar la caja de cartón o el empaquetamiento original en caso de que tenga que mandar el ventilador para alguna reparación. Para prevenir daño corporal y otros daños, asegurarse de que el lugar en donde va a colgar el ventilador le permite un espacio libre de 2,13 m (7 pies) entre las puntas de las aspas y el piso y 76 cm (30 pulg.) entre las aspas y cualquier pared u otra obstrucción. Este ventilador es adecuado para habitaciones hasta 37,2 metros cuadrados (400 pies cuadrados). Se puede colgar este ventilador con tubo en un techo regular o abovedado.
5. Ensamblaje del ventilador (con tubo). Quitar la bola que sirve para colgar del tubo provisto aflojando el tornillo de fijación de la bola que sirve para colgar. Bajar la bola que sirve para colgar y sacar el perno de tope y luego quitar la bola que sirve para colgar deslizándola. [Referirse al diagrama 1]. Aflojar los tornillos de fijación del cuello y las tuercas en la parte superior del bastidor del motor. Quitar el perno y la clavija del cuello del bastidor del motor. [Referirse al diagrama 2].
5. Ensamblaje del ventilador (con tubo). (cont.) Ya que estén sujetado la placa de montaje y el soporte de montaje a la caja de salida y capaz de apoyar el ventilador, usted está listo para colgar el ventilador. Agarrar el ventilador firmemente con las dos manos. Deslizar el tubo por la abertura del soporte de montaje y dejar que se detenga la bola en el soporte de montaje. Girar la bola que sirve para colgar hasta que la ranura de la bola se alinee con la parte saliente del soporte de montaje.
6. Ensamblaje del ventilador (al ras con el techo). (cont.) Para preparar el ventilador para hacer la instalación eléctrica, colgar el ventilador en la placa de montaje colocando la cubierta decorativa en el gancho en forma de "J" en la placa de montaje. (Usar uno de los agujeros que no tenga ranura en el borde de la cubierta decorativa para hacerlo.) placa de montaje cubierta decorativa Sujetar el cable de seguridad según instrucciones en el último párrafo de la Sección 5, página 5.
7. Instalación eléctrica. (cont.) Quitar el interruptor de pared existente. Alambrar el control de pared como sigue, utilizando los conectores para cable provistos para asegurar cada conexión: Conectar el cable NEGRO con RAYA BLANCA del control de pared al cable NEGRO (Entrada CA L) en la caja de salida. Conectar el cable de color NEGRO ENTERO del control de pared al cable NEGRO del ventilador en la caja de salida.
9. Colocación de las aspas. ADVERTENCIA: para reducir el riesgo de lesiones corporales graves, NO utilizar herramientas eléctricas para ensamblar las aspas. Si aprieta demasiado los tornillos, las aspas podrían agrietarse y quebrarse. Para ahorrar tiempo: se pueden poner las arandelas en los tornillos que son para las aspas antes de colocar las aspas. Localizar los 9 tornillos y arandelas para fijar las aspas en uno de los paquetes de artículos de ferretería.
11. Funcionamiento del control de pared. VELOCIDADES DEL VENTILADOR: interruptor corredizo para el ventilador 0 - el ventilador está APAGADO H - pone el ventilador en velocidad ALTA M - pone el ventilador en velocidad MEDIA L2 - pone el ventilador en velocidad MEDIA-BAJA L1 - pone el ventilador en velocidad BAJA interruptor corredizo para la luz controla la función de atenuación de la luz [Mover el interruptor corredizo hacia arriba o hacia abajo para controlar el brillo de la luz.
