First Time Setup
When you log in for the first time, you will be automatically directed to the FIRST TIME SETUP WIZARD, which will walk you through basic steps to customize your
CradlePoint AER 2100. To return to the First Time Setup Wizard after your initial login, go to Getting Started → First Time Setup in the dropdown menu. You have the
ability to configure any of the following:
Administrator Password
Time Zone
WiFi Network Name
Security Mode
Access Point Name (APN) for SIM-based modems
Modem Authentication
Failure Check
Administrator Password
CradlePoint recommends that you change the router’s ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD, which is used to log into the administration pages. The administrator password is
separate from the WiFi security password, although initially the Default Password is used for both.
