Note: FIS does not recommend more than 30 concurrent user connections per server.
The following information summarizes the minimum software requirements for the installation of
Bankway on a terminal server.
● Microsoft Windows Server 2003
● Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 with Service Pack 3 or later or Citrix MetaFrame XP with
Service Pack 3 or later
● Microsoft Office 2003 for document printing and Financial Information and Loan
Collection reports
● Virus Scanning Software
Note: FIS recommends McAfee VirusScan or Norton AntiVirus.
● IBM Personal Communications for Windows, IBM Client Access, or equivalent
terminal emulation (for the IBM AS/400 and MVS environments)
● UniKix-supplied terminal emulation (for UNIX environments)
● It is recommended that the number of applications running on the Terminal Server be
limited to those required for Bankway functionality. Additional applications can
adversely affect Bankway performance.
Note: Terminal emulation software is not required for the operation of Bankway
Windows-based capabilities. It is used to access legacy Bankway functions, also
known as Green Screens.
