The workstation allows your employees to take advantage of all of the current and future
features of Bankway.
The following information summarizes the Recommended Hardware Configuration for the
installation of Bankway.
● Pentium® III – 1.0 GHz Processor or higher
● 256 MB Random Access Memory (RAM)
● 5 GB free (usable) hard-drive space
● 1.44 MB Floppy drive
● SVGA Monitor (required resolution of 800 x 600 pixels) with 256 color resolution
● 100 Mbps Ethernet Card
● Keyboard
● Mouse
Note: Workstations connected to a cash dispenser and teller receipt printer require two
RS-232 serial ports.
The following information summarizes the software requirements for the installation of Bankway
● Microsoft® Windows NT® Workstation 4.0 with Service Pack 6a or later, Windows®
2000 Professional with Service Pack 4 or later, or Windows® XP Professional with
Service Pack 1a or later
● Novell NetWare Client
● Microsoft® Office 97 (Service Release 2), Microsoft® Office 2000 with Service Pack
3, or Microsoft® Office XP with Service Pack 2 for document printing and Financial
Information and Loan Collection reports.
Note: Microsoft® Office 97 cannot be used in a Microsoft® Windows® Active
Directory environment.
