The Novell server is used to house the Microsoft Access databases. One workstation in each
branch is used to update the databases located on the branch Novell Server.
The following information summarizes the Recommended Hardware Configuration for the
installation of Bankway.
● Pentium® III – 1.0 GHz Processor or higher
● 512 MB Random Access Memory (RAM)
● SCSI hard drive controller using RAID 5 (disk striping)
● 5 GB free (usable) hard drive space for each branch
● 1.44 MB Floppy drive
● CD-ROM Drive
● SVGA Monitor (required resolution of 800 x 600 pixels) with 256 color resolution
● 100 Mbps Ethernet Card
● 56K Modem and dedicated analog-dial telephone line for FIS Banking Solutions
