CRACK•RITE™ 2 GALLON HOT POUR JOINT
SEALANT POUR POT APPLICATOR
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (Item #4065)

MAY RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH.
IMPORTANT: WHEN CHARGING KETTLE WITH MATERIAL, YOU MUST
WEAR GOGGLES, GLOVES AND LONG SLEEVED CLOTHING!
1. Simply pour melted Crack•Rite™ PL-500 hot pour joint sealant into the hand
held pour pot and follow the crack keeping the funnel approximately 2" to 4" from
the pavement surface. Slightly overfill the crack.
2. After using our the Crack•Rite™ 2gallon pour pot, use a Asphalt Crack “V’
Squeegee to trim and smooth the new crack filler as needed creating a band of
new rubber about 3" wide which will seal the crack from moisture and dirt.
3. Sand (regular sand or black tinted sand) can be sprinkled on the wet joint to
add adhesion as well as to dull newly applied rubber so repaired crack blend with
existing asphalt pavement.
4. To clean up wheels and orifice simply heat pour pot with a torch and melt
away built up rubber allowing it to drain out orifice.
