Installation & Assembly

Installation Overview
Self-drilling screws
are included in this kit. They are designed
for easy installation into both pre-drilled
holes on the rail/post as well as drilling
itself into rail/post in the final step. Extra
screws are provided on purpose for your
convenience.
NOTE: When screwing, apply some force
onto the screws to help the screw drill itself
into the metal.
Recommended Size: 3/8” x 3“ Long
Concrete Steps - Use Wedge Anchors
NOTE: The quality of the concrete will
impact the strength of the anchor bolts’
attachment to the rail posts. Poor
concrete and/or improper anchor bolt
installation can lead to rail post failures.
Warning: Improper installation can lead to failure of rail system and/or injury. While the railing kit
is designed for Do-It-Yourself (DIY), if in doubt, please consult with a local contractor for the proper
installation of both the anchor system as well as the railing kit.
Time Required: Rail Assembly: 10-15 minutes
Ground Attachment Installation: 30-60 minutes (varies due to drill type)
Tool Required: An electric drill. An impact drill is preferred for installing the concrete bolts
for concrete steps, lag screws for wooden steps, or other ground attachments.

Wooden Steps - Use Lag Screws
Concrete Steps
Use 3/8” or 7/16” masonry
drill bit. An impact driver
electric drill is preferred over
regular drill. Be aware of the
different masonry drill bits
attachment ends.
Wooden Steps
Use ~1/4” wood drill bit to
pre-drill holes to make it
easier for lag screws to be
installed. An impact driver
electric drill will be useful to
screw in the lag screws;
however, a wrench or plier
will work to screw in the lag
screws as well.
